Classic & Specialty Car Insurance

When it comes to insuring your classic or specialty vehicle, you shouldn’t have to pay for coverage that you don’t need. We can help you find a plan that keeps your car protected while it’s on display, at an exhibition, or out for a spin on the weekend.

Just purchased a classic or specialty vehicle? Fill out this simple form and we will be in touch with your personalized quote for classic car coverage.

Custom & Collector Cars, 1980 or newer

We can find coverage for any specialty vehicle that has a model year of 1980 or newer. This includes any vehicle that is a:

  • Limited edition
  • Rare or exotic car
  • Supercar
  • Custom build

We can also help you find a plan for any hobby vehicle that may be modified or under construction.

Classic Cars & Trucks, Pre-1980

We also find coverage for a range of vehicles produced before 1980. This includes vintage classics such as:

  • Pre-1980 collector cars
  • Retired commercial vehicles such as antique fire engines or vintage school busses
  • Retired military vehicles
  • Antique tractors

If you have a corresponding trailer that goes with your classic vehicle, we can also help you find coverage for that too!

Making Sure You Qualify

Before we can explore your options, it’s important to double-check that your vehicle qualifies for a classic car plan. You should be able to answer ‘yes’ to the following questions:

Do you have appropriate storage?

To qualify for classic car protection, you must confirm that you have a place to safely store the vehicle while it’s not in use. Typically, this means you have something like a garage, storage unit, or carport to store it in.

Is driving your vehicle a hobby?

Vehicles that are covered on a classic car plan cannot be used as a primary or ‘regular-use’ vehicle. For example, driving your classic car for fun on the weekends is okay; driving it to work every day is not.

Do other drivers in your household have a primary vehicle?

Insurers want to make sure that your classic vehicle is not being used as an everyday means of transportation. Before you look into classic car insurance, you should make sure that all licensed drivers in your household have their own insured, regular-use vehicle.
